Dear Billy: A Stranger Things inspired stop-motion animation

This 1-minute showcase was a dedicated stop-motion film re-creating and adapting my favourite scene from the show Stranger Things (season 4). It is the climax point for the character Max Mayfield after being cursed by Vecna, the antagonist. This moment was anticipated and feared by everyone. They knew what it meant to be cursed by him; Max would soon meet her end in a brutal manner. This is what is supposed to happen in this scene, but Max ends up escaping the inescapable wizard with the help of her friends. This scene not only shows her escaping death from Vecna but symbolises Max accepting to live after a long time of suffering and after a long time of pondering about death and slipping away from her hurt. It is a very powerful scene that I tried to recreate with stop-motion. This project was by far the hardest yet most rewarding project I have endured.
